how much lift with deaver leaf springs?

how much lift would one get with deaver leaf springs in the rear. eventually i would like to put in a suspension lift similar to a dixon bros race truck.

Front Suspension/Brakes: Double A-arm, Torsion Bar, Fox Racing Shox 3" w/ Remote Reservior, Disc Brakes.

Rear Axle/Suspension/Brakes: 8.8in, 5.13:1 Ratio, Deaver Leaf Springs, Fox Racing Shox 3" External Bypass w/ Remote Reservior, Drum Brakes.
they are running this set up in a 2wd edge with 35 inch tires, and i am curious how much lift would it give my fx4? it seems very straight forward. comments?

pics of said truck....

Ford Ranger Deaver Springs F31 - Long Travel Suspensions - Dixon Bros Racing

it provides lift but your supposed to run a flipped shackle to get the most performance out of them...

2.5" of lift from the deavers if installed just like stock, no flipping. At least thats the case with the F31's.

Need a set? I'm about to make an ad up for my pair of low mile F31's.

IF, big if, I remember correctly, you MUST flip the shackles for the Deaver F31s to be used on stock suspension. This also entails cutting into the bed to do such. Contact DBR, Aaron is MORE than helpful and a great guy to deal with.

you do NOT need to cut the bed with flipped STOCK shackles.
Kartek makes a drop shackle hanger that is supposed to compensate for the shackle flip and give back 1.5" of height.

i am running f31 deavers, kartek hangers(moved to the rear of the frame now-handles better imo) and Blitzkrieg shackles which are 7.5" eye to eye.
i can fit 33/12.5's under the factory bed, BUT bedsides were pulled about 2"

with the deavers, you can call them and have them put more arch into the leaf springs to achieve lift if needed, my pack is re arched and added a leaf(totals 8 now). it is more of a performance leaf pack than a lift...

all in all, i am probably only 1.5" higher than stock

also, you are good for about 12" of travel before leafs start to seperate. if you move the hangers back to the rear of the frame, you will get a clean 14" travel before they start pulling apart. best people to call would be deaver

i would be looking for an inexpensive(under 2k) way to get 2 to 3 inches of lift(to easily accomodate 33/12.5 tires) out of the ranger while keeping the truck stock looking. much like dbr did with their truck above.

i am not looking to cut into the bed or swap out the front suspension for a couple inches of lift. i thought deaver springs would be a good start. i will probably talk to greg foutz before i do anything.

interesting fact you might not know about the red edge- its totally stock aside from deavers and foxes. It does have a bodylift of sorts (the body is solid mounted on alloy pucks) to keep the 35s it has from bottoming and rubbing. Not bad for a stock ranger right?
