how to tighten body lift

hey, i'm trying to figure out a way to re-tighten my body lift bolts.. they're slightly loose and doing the "clank clank" thing when i go over flex spots. i tried using a c-clamp to hold that stupid bottom washer/nut deal. it's the ones in the back of the body on a ext cab 4x4. the washer/nut things have a flat spot but i can't get anything to stick there and jam up so i can tighten them. one man army here so looking for ideas that don't involve get your wife to hold the bottom with pair of giant channel locks...

on mine, the bolt threads into a 3 inch wide washer, that has threads in the center of it. that's what the bottom bushing sits on.

I damaged the threads on my rear cab mounts so I just drilled the threads out and put a longer bolt in wi the nut on the inside of the cab and torqued it down. Use a stover or a nylock and red lock tight and you should be ok
