Replace front draftshaft with 5.5 rcd lift?

Hey guys. I'm in the works of finally putting my lift on and I wasn't to sure If I had to replace the front drive shaft or can I just leave it stock. If replacing it is a better way to go do I have options on front drive shaft or is it really only up to the superlift one??

yes it will go out just like the with the superlift. Either you can get the superlift shaft or go with a custom shaft. Do some searching on it and there is a good thread about custom fitting an expo shaft. Just have to get the adapter and cut it down to size I believe

I'll probly do the super lift shaft just forthe fact it's made for the truck... I'm not a good fabricater so that would be my best bet I guess

Make sure you find my thread i made involving the pinion bracket for the front... It needs to be gusseted before it's put in, and I'd highly suggest running 700-750 hyper coils in the coil-overs because the RCD coils are garbage...

Ah gotcha, make sure that pinion bracket has the gusset. You don't want that breaking like mine did and blow out the shaft because of it... Honestly, I think if you get that patched up before it goes in and it's stout, you could rock the stock shaft. The only reason I replaced mine was because that brackets busted and caused my driveline to hit a weird angle up at the tulip and just blew it out good lol... So make sure that's good!
