Icon7 Align this !!!!

Hey! Thanks for the input. I have a 2wd torsion bar ranger (AKA the "slave cylinder Killer")

I bought the truck used and have a severe pull to the right. I had one alignmet done but the truck still pulls. The tires wear on the inside, badly after about 6 months. I just got new ball joints and new tires. The truck still pulls to the right. damn!!!

I had an alignment check done yesterday, as follows:
rear: 0.1

front: CASTER (L4.4) (R2.7)
CAMBER (L-0.5) (R-0.7)
TOE (-.05)

I bought the camber adjusters from SUMMIT. Do you think I would benefit from installing the kit? The alignment tech says I am fine, but I know my tires will continue to wear, and pull to the right.

I have instected the calipers and the wheels rotate freely. The brakes work great.

When I am driving straight the steering wheel is rotated approx 10 degrees, CCW. As I let go of the steering wheel the truck quickly wanders to the right.

Thanks for the input. You can call me righty.

if your tires are wearing unevenly, and the truck pulls to the left, youre not aligned! not sure what that shop was talking about

if the truck is pulling that badly and you just got an alignment, have you gotten your brakes thoroughly(sp?) checked?

Explain pulls to the right. All the time, sometime or what. Brakes can cause it to pull to the right. I was at a buddies shop and a car kept coming in for pulling to one side., but her thrust angle was out, the steering wheel was offset a few degrees inside of being centered when going straight. Sometimes shops can correct that and sometimes they cant.

Your truck is going to pull tot he side with the least caster. Have that dialed in and you should be fine.

The alignment numbers look ok, but if you're wearing on the inside, you have to much negative camber. Although, by the shops figures, you have less than me, and my tires wear evenly. as far as the pull to the right, the steering box will try to center itself, so if the tie rods aren't adjusted evenly, it will pull, even though the numbers say it's ok.

If you have gotten an alignment, chances are you already have the camber adjusters installed.

All the camber adjusters are is the thing that they use to adjust the camber. The ones that come from the factory are not adjustable, therefore they install them to be able to adjust your alignment.

Take a look at your upper control arm mounts. Look at the bolts. If there is something that looks like a large round off-set washer that is the adjustable cam. If it is square then it is the stock non-adjustable "block"

His numbers look ok? Did you even look at his caster? it is 4.4 on one side and 2.7 on the other. WAY off. Its gonna pull to the right since it only has 2.7 degrees of caster. Get it aligned and tell them to adjust caster right this time.
