Shocks

hey guys hopefuly you guys can help me i am looking for a good shock for my 2008 4x4 sport ranger i lifted it up about 2 1/2 inches do you guys know of any shock that are 2" taller then stock or so i cant find any think any thing be big help

This has been brought up about 4 million times, but if all you have done is changed the pre-load on the torsion bars you do NOT need longer shocks. In fact, if you ran longer shocks in front the balljoints and CV joints will bind. Which is why I keep recommending people not crank their torsion bars that much. The shocks are there, and short, to limit the suspension travel to prevent damage.

You do not need taller shocks...

your probably just noticing that the ride is firmer from the cranked bars..


and brianj; you should write a book.. , maybe im just dumb but you post so much damn useful information.. ive learned a lot from you, three thumbs up
