Looking to rase my 02 Ranger 4x4 high enough to clear 285/75R16's on 2003 Sport-Trac wheels. How much lift do i need? Would a 2" body lift and torsebar twist be enough?

3" body lift would be plenty...

 

285/75's will fit without a lift on a 4x4.........................

 

They can fit with a torsion crank, its been proven many times, but you will need to trim things. A 3" bodylift will give you all the clearance you would need.

 

The only body lift availible on the market is performance assesorys 3" BL

 

You can cut your 3" B/L down if you want, but who wants LESS lift? Honestly, you don't need to lift at all for that size tire. I had 33x12.5s on my truck for several months before I got my lift. If you'd like, I can find some pictures I took of where and how to trim your flares and valence. I'm sure they're around here somewhere. *wanders off to rummage through his computer*
