What OTHER springs fit a 05 ranger STX to stiffen it a little

I need to figure out how to support my diesel in the ranger a little better. Do 150 springs, or mustang springs, or what? I have a DJM lowering kit with stock springs, and it sits a touch low but I can live with that. but it needs to be a little stiffer over the bumps in the shutdown lane. What will fit?

No I just need to llift it an inch or two, then have a stiffer spring. I would guess a 2wd v-8 explorer would work????

What about an AAL? Get lift and make it stiffer.

Do you also have the DJM arms? Those lowers are what give you 2inches of drop. you could put in the stock arms to raise it that 2inches. But i'm not sure on what springs would work to stiffen you up...RPS might have more info...

I think the first thing is to know what rate the springs you have are. Then corner weigh the truck. After that you should be able to calculate the spring weight you need.

They are stock springs right now, whatever the rate is. I am going to run this year with stock, then upgrade the front end over the off season. I was told 99-02 Chevy 1500 springs fit well.

The chevy springs seem like a good place to start should be worth the effort, just to get feedback with the heavier spring compared to stocks shouldn't be to much work putting them in.
