93 explorer budget rig

I have a 1991 f150 4x4 parts truck that I got last summer just for the transmission, and my plan is pull the coils out of that along with the outer shocks ( quad front shocks) and put them in my 93 explorer to lift it a little to clear 31s decently, but I have a question. How much lift should I expect to get from the coils? I'm looking for between 2-3" front and I hear the 4x4 coils from the f150s should give me more lift than ones from a rwd f150 which give about 1.5-2"s of lift
