inner fender ??

... if someone could help me out here please... can i remove the inner fender without removing the outer fender on an 06 ?

I believe you can. Its a series of small bolts and possibly snaps on the newer models

flares come off first, if you have, then it should be those multi ribbed plastic PITA push pins or what ever they are. be care full on the passenger side, there is a vacuum ball that controls the air diverts for the vents in the cab.

Do you mean the inner plastic shield? There should be one plastic push in retainer at the back, three small screws along the outside edge, two bolts at the front edge and then if I remember correctly right above the tire there is a nut and another bolt the same size as the front two.

You don't need to remove the flares or anything else, that splash shield can come out on its own.

No problem! It's still fresh in my mind... just had my driver's side one out on Saturday.

ah, sounds alot easier than the -06 flares, there kinda a pain
