ranger bars on explorer

well i sold my 03 ranger but still have uninstalled #1 bars for it im pickin up a 98 2wd exploder from a buddy and am doing a 3'' spindle lift/t bar keys lift can i use these bars on the exploder in addition i AM NOT WORRIED ABOUT RIDE QUALITY as it will be driven as an extra vehicle/playtoy?

A 2nd gen Ex like yours uses the same bar dimensions as 98+ torsion bar Rangers. Many Explorers, especially those with the 5.0 option, came from the factory with #1's just like the new ones you have.

no its a 4.0 2wd these #1 bars look thicker and if im gonna take them off to do the keys may as well put these in

I agree that is doubtful that your 4.0 2WD already has #1 torsion bars. What I meant is that the new #1 Ranger bars that you have should fit perfectly because the factory put the same parts on certain Gen 2 Explorers.
