Icon5 Looking into different shocks for the explorer. Need your opinion!

Okay I got some bilsteins for the explorer. However they are very stiff and make the ride very uncomfortable. So what would you suggest? It will never see any extreme offroading just mild trails here and there, but mostly on the street. I dont want something that will make it feel like I am in a big body Cadi. To be honest I am not sure why these are so stiff. I loved them in the ranger. They had just the right amount of cushion, but still kept the truck stable. It honestly feels more like I am in something that is lowered. Even my rancho's I had on my old ranger were real stiff, but were more giving then these bilsteins.

Depends on what kinda money you want to spend. I personally love my ranch xl9000's and I like them so much better than my bilsteins I had. I know everyone is off bilsteins but I couldnt stand them and they were to rough for me. The money was well spent for me and I got em during a buy 3 get 1 free and free installation which just made it even nicer that I didnt havta take the time to do it.
