looking for a leveling kit

im looking for a leveling kit for a 98 2wd ranger. i was looking for one on a couple of sites but i didnt see one.

Um I think if i remember you could crank your t-bars up.

i tried to google one for ya but the best i could come up with is jc whitney or suspensionconnection.com.
EDIT: just went and looked in my jc whitney magizine, they do have them for ur truck. there by daystar and cost like $80

$80... wow... i didnt realize they were that cheap. thx man... ill try gettin a hold of a jc whitney.
EDIT*- what exactly are the components of leveling kits. is it just a coil spacer?.. or is there more in them than that? also what are the long term effects of a leveling kit?

the kit has the pucks that go under the coil spring. they dont have the kit on there website for some reason but it is in the magazine. not sure of the affects of leveling if there are any

ben you are describing something for a 93-97 ibeam truck i highly doupt this is for a 98 A-arm truck

it may be a typo on jc whitneys part, i just went and looked at the mag again and it does say 97 - 02 ranger 2wd. it gives the truck 1.5 inches of lift

so it says it in the mag but not online... hmmmmm... i wish i had a jc whitney here... i just ordered one a few minutes ago though.

ya i highly doupt its correct i think its a typo i just been hunting for it online from what it looks like from Daystar is there 1.5" is 88-96 and the 2" is like 93-97 i cant find anything on the newer trucks i spent about an hour looking for it

that is my thinking to. how can the publish something and make a huge mistake like that. im sure some ppl have ordered that and were upset when they got the wrong thing

could you just get new springs in the front that would give it some height? i dunno how any of this works.

if you get lift coils you must get new upper control arms. the spindle will frame out..

im just looking for something fairly cheap that i can do. ive got a good bit of equipment available, but i dont wanna spend a load. any ideas besides a BL?
