Need help rebuilding front end/suspension system
Hello I was wondering if someone could help me gather all of the necessary parts needed to rebuild my suspension system and front end steering. I want everything from bushings to cambers to rods and shocks. It has a 6 inch rough country lift on there so keep that in mind. I believe it is on blocks so if I am not mistaken that would still use OEM springs/shocks am I right? Also want rear parts as well doing the whole thing! Anyways diagrams and a parts list someone could help me get together would be great. This truck is a good truck reliability wise but it rides rough and can't get it aligned correctly due to front end being worn out. Also eating up my $700 tires lol. All help appreciated.

I would like similar rebuild info. I would like a little more info on bushings. I have some experience with different types of rubbers, and Urethanes. I have seen on several sites claiming to have the best materials for bushings. I noticed that there is a strong push here from sales of urethane bushings. The red rubber spacers and grommets. It's been my experience that if I apply alot of torque to the washers holding such bushings that they split or if over tightened the wear will cause them to split after driving for a short time ( 3 months or more ). I'm not a rubber scientist and do not the durometer of rubber to successfully stiffen and hold the front suspension tighter. When
I changed the bushings in my '89 Ford Bronco the bushings were a hard neoprene rubber compound that even when I over tightened the nuts and bolts to the washers the rubber never split. I'm looking at the long haul and not becoming a reoccurring customer to a rubber factory. I would like to feel the confidence in rebuilding this new project, a 1999 ford ranger super cab. Is there a good brand or kit someone has good confidence in over the years?

You may slip on a object in the floor and hurt your body on something. Look ahead before you walk/run into a tree or pole or person. Save as much money as you can, because there is always something that needs paid for, new car, car repair, broken door handle to the house, near dress for the wife on that forgotten anniversary. We can all be better prepared to handle life's tricks when they appear in front of us. So always look ahead.
