my options for my 3rd gen 2wd?

alright so here's what I'm up against... I've got a 97 reg cab step-side, 2wd 2.3 I've got a set of 235/75/15 snows on it now I think one of the previous owners must've added an extra leaf out back because the suspension is ridiculously stiff... feels like driving a 3/4 ton on rough roads, I don't mind that, what I don't like is that the front end sits so much lower... I was wondering what my options are to bring the front end up a bit... I would like to do a 4-5" suspension lift eventually but I don't have that kinda money at the moment, I'm new to trucks... I've always had lowered mazda mx6's and probes so speak in n00b language for me lol

P.S sorry for the lack of proper punctuation I'm on my phone right now lol

2-3" lift coils for the front....depending on how high the rear is

be sure to get your camber re-adjusted afterwards

If I was you I would skip the lift coils and go straight to a 4" lift kit. For your truck they can be dirt cheap. Rough Country sells them for about 450 dollars. You would be putting about 300+ into lift coils, cam bushings and an alignment to get 2" of lift out of the front.
