Thats a really good deal. Considering the PA body lift is $200+ and the gap guards are $70+ thats only $290 in labor.

Do it.

You can buy a body liftt for your truck for between 150-170 depending on which kit you want, and im sure you can find some other florida members to help you put it on for free. Bodly lifts are easy too do.... So i personally wouldn't pay that but its probally not a bad deal....

Good price. The shop will probably regret it after doing the work. It's not hard, but time consuming.
Most shops will tell you $500-800 for just labor because they don't even want to do it.
I think I paid a guy $200 to install the body lift on my ranger, a ford mechanic who did side work.
I did the body lift on the sport trac with a friend and it was time consuming. I would gladly pay someone $200-300 to do it for me again.

I paid $550 for my lift installed and after the 4x4 shop was done they said the would never install a BL on a Ranger again for that cheap.

If you want to do it I wouldnt wait.

I honestly don't see how it's such a pain. My friend and I put one on my old ranger in less than 2 hours. When I did call a shop it was gonna run me $500 or so but this was bout 6 years ago.

That's a good eal for a shop to do it... here's the thing though.. they are simple to do, jsut time consuming.. especially for newer rangers.. old rangers once you do one once you can do them probably in about 3 hours, but my first one with my truck took about 8 hours of off and on work.. definitely worth the experience and the time to take a weekend to do it yourself.. not much you can go wrong with.. just get some wrenches and heat
