xj leaf springs?

i was thinking of using xj leaf springs for the front for my sas i have a couple questions...

1. I researched the weight of the ranger vs. the xj and noticed that the ranger is ~500 lbs more than the xj. Does this mean that the springs will be to soft for the ranger?

2. Has anyone else used this setup on their sas?

thanks for any help (and i did search and not much came up)

ok i was looking at them today and i was contemplating them... i just figured that they would be too soft because of the weight of a yj
