I'd like some cheap small lift done on my 2wd just for looks. I've heard of a Shackle mod or something, or leaf spring lifts?

shackle and/or leafs will only do your rear, the shackle, you buy a chevy 6400 shackle, which is longer than ours, by about 2inches, which will give your rear about 1 inch of lift, as for the front on yours, i forget what year they put the t-bars on, (and i know people are going to give me **** because i can't remember every detail of every truck) but if you have t-bars, you can crank them, for free, which can give you some on the front, or you could do a lift spindle...

shackles are probably around 50$ the spindles, i have no idea

You can do a coil spacer in the front to level it out with the rear. Spindles are 3 inches in front and are about $600 bucks or so. Couple that with a small block and shackle and 31's and thats almost 5 inches of total lift.
