I am working on figuring out what all i need for the rear 4 link on my truck. I was going to run Johnny Joints on the frame end and bushings on the axle end, but it seems the brackets i want are setup for Johnny Joints on the axle ends.

So should I run Johnny Joints all around? Or bushings on the frame end and johnny joints on the axle end?

Price is doubled running Johnny Joints. I am not so much worried about price as I am road noise, I have heard it can be worse without bushings but I'd rather just have Joints on both ends as they are super easy to take care of.(IMO)

 

Most of the single flex arms from like Skyjacker run a bushing at the frame and the flex joint at the axle. I believe they do this to keep the vibs down.

 

for something that you drive a lot on the road Id go bushings on the frame end. johnnys on the axle side.

getting over 50 percent wheeling then go johnnys all the way around.

I would look into having your links made by suicide doors. They made mine and they were cheaper then me buying the DOM and joints and doing it my self. my 35" long 2" x .25 wall DOM Links with Flex joints on both ends, one of which is adjustable for $130 dollars each.

that is a pretty good price. but i think ill probably make my own. just because i am going to do this project in pieces, last project the plastic card financed some of it and that isnt going to happen again.

i dont really know my measurements yet. but ill keep that idea open, thanks!
