Tire pressure too high??

I just went with a new set of mastercraft m/t's on my ride a couple of weeks ago and they are severly hard feeling...i feel every dam bump in the road and im runnin 33psi front 33psi in the back. my old same size x-terrains i ran 38 front and rear and it rode way smoother. i went thru my field last night and my tires got muddy, and i drove about 40 miles today and the mud has wore off the center tread but not the inside and outside of the tires...do i need to drop it down to about 28-30 lbs?? I just dont wanna go to low and have wear problems, but the tread right now looks rounded(higher in middle)

run a line of chalk across the width of the tire about 1inch thick and see when your airing down when you have optimal wear across it, but if the mud is only off on the middle its too high

i run my 31s around 25-30 and they are wearing great.

oh and i have coil springs like you do. its always been a rough ride. coil spring spacers actually made my truck ride better.

M/T usually have stronger side walls which will cause a rougher ride.
