Superlit rear lift question

Superlit rear lift question

What do you guys run on the rear instead of the superlift blocks? I want more flexmout of the rear as well so whats the best way? 1600 for a lift kit is bad enough, giving blocks to stack on factory ones is just plain ripping people off.

add-a-leaf. lift shackles.

Or run expo leafs or the 64inch chevy leafs if youre BA enough

If I was doing it I would get the 6" Skyjacker Soft Ride leafs and pull the stock blocks

How much do they cost? Do you need new shackles for the chev leafs or an add a leaf? Whats gonna have the most for flex?

Chevy leafs will have the most flex. Add a leafs won't do anything for flex. Shackles will help a little but not much.

Well i doubt im buying those at that much, how much will chevy leafs cost me, what do they come off of?

The Chevy 1500 leafs won't swap right in, you have to move the front spring hanger. Not a huge job, just something to know before you buy. Should be able to get them for pretty cheap.

These will lift a ranger 6.5" and are a bit cheaper

I'd go with the 6" lift Skyjacker Softride leaf springs. I love them!

I've got a short AAL and shackles, but debating on changing over to the above mentioned leaf springs for a better ride!

yeah cheap way is to get aal and shackle, best way is skyjacker leaves

Ok guys where is the best to order the superlift from? Orw doesn't respond back to any emails ive ever sent them and the ranger station store doesn't either, all I want to know is if they have them in stock or do I order and wait? Where else can I get it at a decent price?

ORW and TRS Fab and Off-Road are the two places I recommend. They are also the cheapest places I have found. Last I heard no one has the Ranger kits in stock. They are all back-ordered from the manufacturer. I’d just call one of them up and ask.

I don't know if these guys are the cheapest but I've had good experience with their customer service

Hey KlC in your sig it says 7"'hybrid superlift? How did you get 7"'out of it? Or is it a body lift too? This is really starting to make me mad, I figured id buy it new because I cant find it used but they don't even make enough to keep up with orders, might as well just leave it stock. If I ever do find one do I need that tbar tool? I'm starting to think its time to fire up the torch and cut all this bull**** off and put a real axel in it.

Don't bother getting the t-bar tool you can do it without!

K that's good news, what can I do about the drive shaft? I'm sure something custom would be cheaper then the superlift one wouldn't it?

I am able to get a few more inches of lift because I also have coil-over's. I have 7.5" of lift in the rear and the front is about an 1" lower. So I guess really it's 6.5" of lift in the front. I wanted to keep a slight rake for towing.

Possibly, it depends on how much you can buy the parts for. You could also buy a used Superlift driveshaft.

well i tried calling superlift to see about the ranger lift but they dont even answer the @&$"-)g phone, on hold for 12 minutes and called an hour later it was the same bs. I never would have though finding a lift for a ford ranger would be so difficult.
