Just crank the bars a little bit. You can fit 32s stock. The 5100 bilsteins arent made for rangers. They are made for coil over applications like the f150.

So I am sure this has been said like 4 times already but I'm still new to the suspension world and thus a little confused. Can someone let me know if "Pre-key's are not bad for your front end and t-crank is" is a true statement.

If you have 08+ than cranking the keys to the height of and 07- is just the same as adding the pre keys. If you go anymore and "crank" them, then it will cause more stress. You should get an alignment after, either way you go.

Just spent all morning at 4wheel parts and here's what they said. They said I need the new torsion keys (2" lift) because cranking the stock will screw my front end and kill my ride. I've got an 06 2wd sport. Looking to level out front with rear or slightly place front higher. Along with that I wanna do new shocks all the way around. I have stock 16's and right now I have 265/70/16s. Hit me with some 411 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!

New keys will do the same thing as cranking the existing keys. Its not the keys themselves that screw up the front end. Its adjusting the ride height which throws the balljoints and cv joints at angles that they are not designed for. With that being said, alot of us have cranked our stock keys even maxed them out and havent really had any problems. If it was me and you just wanted a couple inches and run 32s I would crank the stock bars.

Yea 4wheelparts guy is wrong, he just wants to sell you stuff. To keep it simple, all the keys do is adjust preload and your stock keys have enough adjustment as is
