FLRERUNNER on G-E has a 3.5" spindle lift on his EDGE, and he has 35x12.50 tires, I saw his truck at the last meet we had in florida and they fit fairly well, no rubbing during turning. He has a flareside, so he doesnt have fender flares...

Also, 034x4 on G-E has a 3" body lift on his EDGE, and he also has 35x12.50's, but he told me that there was a little rubbing.

but heres what i'm saying i want to go higher so i can clear 35 because the XLT is 3 inch's lower than a stock edge.....i lifted my XLT 3 inch's with my spindles so i'm even with an edge.......and then i added the 3 inch bodylift....so i'm 3 inch's above a stock edge.....i can only clear 33's...i'm looking to go with a newer upper control arm and a 3 inch coil spring so i'll ahev 5 inch's SL and 3 inch's BL So i'd be as high as an edge lifted with a bodylift on top high enuff to run 35's

why go with ****ty 289 heads? u can get a decent set of heads cheap. go to a junkyard and pick any early 90s LTD, grand marquies, t-bird, cougar, f-150 (intake wont clear the hood)m etc...they're a dime a dozen...rebuild it with a 331 stroker, add some GT40 heads at the least (ported are better), nice mild RV cam and headers with the stock ford EFI (ported intakes) and ur set...
