Rack & Pinion Replacement (2003 2.3L)

My rack is leaking and even though I have the factory manual I have a few questions.

1) The motocraft one on Rockauto is about $100 more than the other brands. Is it worth it? There are no pictures, I assume the motocraft one comes with the inner tie rods like the other ones do?

2) the manual says to discard the bolt that connects steering shaft to the rack. Is this really necessary?

3) the fluid lines do not thread in They seem to have some kind of seal and are plugged in and held in place by a metal plate. Is this just an o-ring seal of some kind? Should they be replaced?

Thanks.

I ended up getting the motocraft rack, swapped the bushings over and have it back in. I just purchased a new pressure hose since it looked pretty bad. I'm just going to use some blue loctite on the bolt.
