RCD 3" shackles vs. Belltech 2.5" shackles

I have a chance to either buy Belltech's 2.5" (or 2 inch, not much difference) shackles or RCD's 3" lift shackles.

Anybody had experience with RCD's shackles? With a full t-bar crank, how awful would the rake be with RCD's shackles?

I know its only 1/2" difference, but that could make a huge difference.

EDIT: Wait a minute, does RCD even make shackles for our trucks? Or will they work/fit whatever? I searched some and didnt really find anything.

Thanks guys.

I know RCD makes shackles for the 98-00 trucks.
IIRC Djfllmn has belltechs and a T-bar crank on his truck.

Yup, I remember when he put them on. I was just curious to see if anybody has tried RCD's shackles.

I might just stick with the belltechs. But the RCDs are at a good price. hmmmmm....

The RCD shackles are a little longer, but they are much harder to find nowadays. If you can get em cheap then buy them and resell them if you don't like them. You can always pick up the belltechs whenever you want, but that's not so easy with the RCD shackles.

But will they work/fit? I cant seem to find a pair online that were meant for a Ranger. I might just be searching wrong?

The RCD shackles? As far as I know they were only sold with the RCD 98+ 4x4 lift kit. I don't think you could buy them separately, but yes they do exist and they will fit.
