rear 3 link suspension broke ideas?
Hey folks its my first post on this forum but I have been looking around for awhile. I picked up a bagged 2000 ranger a couple weeks back and my 3 link has already broke on me. All the welds look fantastic (I'm certified) so I'm not worrieid about the quality of those. The two lower links are fine but the upper 3rd link is, well was bolted to the top 3 bolts of the dif. Cover which are now broke off/stripped out/fell out. So my question is, is there a better way to mount this thrid link than on three small bolts for a dif. Cover also the builder used rubber bushings, am I wrong in thinking the 3rd link should be a heim for torsional movement? Thanks in advance and if this is in the wrong section hopefully a mod. Can move it. Also its bag inside of frame so its tight in there. Thanks again

depends on the type of truck, if you have a lowered ranger with a 3 link setup bushing will do the job but on an offroad rig you need a something that pivot (heim joint, teraflex joint, ballistic or rubicon etc). Has for holding it on the cover bolt shure is not enought support. The best way his to use a bridge over the center section thats welded on the tube.
