Superlift?

I'm looking at putting a lift on my 02 4wd ranger. I've read that superlift includes 3" blocks for the rear too stack on top of the factory blocks. My questions is if i already have belltech shackles can I get an add a leaf in stead of getting the blocks? If i do this do i still need to purchase the rear block kit? also on superlifts website it looks like i can just buy the front box kit does that include everything i need?

My AAL gave me about 1.5" lift. I'm not too sure but I think the Superlift only comes all or nothing... it comes in 3 boxes (2 for the front and one for the rear).

the block part of the lift comes in a seperate box which I think it around 100 dollars. You would be pretty level with an aal and shackle. But if you wanted you could replace the stock block with the superlift block plus aal and shackle if you wanted a little extra

Blocks suck and I do not know why SL does it, especially stacked.
Add-a-leals suck because they increase the bounce in the rear of the truck and make the ride harsher.

Either go the Explorer Spring route and I do not know which ones or as some of us have done go with the Sky-jacker 6” Softride Leaf Spring and take out all of the blocks.
Also, new leaf Springs will settle after a while so build around that idea.

Try my project thread… https://www.ranger-forums.com/f82/ed...r82-ma-100842/

that will give you an idea but remember there will be some settling, maybe not much but some.

The pic of the "after lift" was immediately after the lift so it has come down some and I will need to adjust the Coil-Over Shock in front to compensate.

These are the seperate peices i was talking about, you can order them seperatly from summitracing
Superlift Suspension 9631 - Superlift Suspension Lift Kit Components - Overview - SummitRacing.com
or
Superlift Suspension 9637 - Superlift Suspension Lift Kit Components - Overview - SummitRacing.com

if i could get one of these it would save me alot of money but i dont know what excatly comes in them besause they arnt too clear in the descriptions. All im looking for is the kit that lifts the front end and i'll get the 6" skyjacker soft rides for the rear.

You need both those boxes you listed above. One is the knuckles and the other one is everything else.

The problem is that there are pieces in both boxes that are needed for the lift even if you get separate springs; you will have to get both and sell what ever isn’t used.

This is what i got from AutoAnything. they had the best pricing at the time.
Skyjacker Softride Lifting Leaf Springs - Rear
SKU 2255852
Part # FR36
Vehicle 1997 Ford Ranger
Submodel Fits the 2wd and 4wd Models

These fit except the mounting bolts needed to be replaced.

they are also working a little bette each day and settling a little not much but enough to re-adjust the front.
