!!!WANTED!!! - For '06 XLT 2WD

I'm trying to track down some suspension parts and a few friendly members \ mech. that live in the Los Angeles area to help with my lift. The parts I'm looking for are:

- 2in AAL (been reading on this site that Pro Comp offers 'em) (can't find a site that carries 'em)

- 3in spindles (found 'em here: http://sporttrucksuspension.com/RANGERLIFT.HTM) (any place carry 'em for less?)

Questions:

- Will I need additional parts for the lift? (i.e. cam and bolt, longer shocks).
- How much do shops charge on the average to install gears and lockers? (i.e. if I can't find friendly members \ mech. to help with the install).
- Can 33s be stuffed underneth?

I think that's all the questions I have. If I can think of any others I'll add them to this thread. Thanks.

AALs do fabtech and do Fabtech spindles

i am not a fan of procomp

I bought the fabtech kit for 600 (spindles, AAls, cam and bolt kit, and hardware and shocks)

you will not need the cam and bolt kit if you are installing it yourself, you only need it someone else is going to put it on and do the alignment for you

the only additional parts you will need are longer shocks... talk to anyone at 4 wheel parts or a similar place, tell them how much you are lifting your truck so many inches, and they will give you a list of your options on shocks

you will also need to fabricate some sort of steering stop (you will need to replace the stock one on the front) THIS IS NOT COMPLETELY NECESSARY THO I DO ADVISE IT SO YOU WILL NOT DAMAGE PARTS.. you can damage the bolts on your brake calipers and other parts in that area (many of us guys with the Fabtech spindles and steering stop have issues with the lower brake caliper bolt hitting the steering stop) i have not had this problem, but some guys have had those bolts break when they turn all the way repeatedly and the bolts just get tired and break (no biggie, just replace, no damage)

if you wanna fit 33s crank the t-bars in the front 1.5"
for the back, do the AALs, then replace the stock 2" block with a 3 or 3.5" block

that should be it, pm me if you got ?s

aal sucks, get deavers or nationals.

if your going to actually use this stuff offroad, then the fagtech also sucks.
