Hi how high would i have to lift a 2003 fx4 level 2 in order to fit 35's? I was thinking a 3 inch pa body lift and 3 inch tortion key lift on front with a 3 inch add a leaf on the rear. Any suggestions? They would be greatly appreciated. I would like to fit 35x12.5x15 on it.

how much lift do you have? and i also want to run the stock fx4 bumper. do you also have a body kit?

 

35's will fit with just a bodylift or just a suspension lift(NOT KEYS, a REAL lift like a 4" Superlift) with maxed bars. BUT...it's stuffed and just not comfortable at all. I ran it at one point. Never again.

 

yeah a superlift is your option with a BL. No flex with just 35's and a BL. They "keys" are a joke, stay away.

 

if i still wheeled my truck as hard as i used to 35's would be a nono. but i dont anymore. just some trails here and there. if you dont plan on wheeling the truck go 35's. if you do, 33's for sure.

 

I had 35s with a 3" BL and cranked T-bars, chevy drop shackles in the back, and minor trimming, didn't have a problem at all when wheeling it.

 

Your truck is going to ride like a brick (even worse off road) with 3" torsion keys. It is so worth leaving the torsion bars alone to get a decent ride, and run a lift setup that fits the wheels/tires properly.

Generally a 4" suspension lift and 3" body lift will fit 35s comfortably.
Or you could always entertain the idea of running either lift, with mild fiberglass fenders up front and pull the bed sides out.

 

I run 35s on my truck and I had some bad rubbing/ripping/tearing of the fenders and my tires. That is running SkyJacker 6" lift springs, factory 2" block, and shackles (1.5" lift). That is also as Ty said wheeling it hard. Dirt roads, curbs, and the like nothing rubs, but tough trails and serious wheeling will mess things up and you'll have to trim/cut up your fenders. I would stick with 33's for serouis wheeling or if you just do fun easy trails then 35s should work. Don't forget to regear to get your MPG up and save your tranny.
