Rear Suspension ?

Yea, I searched, but couldnt find my specific answer. (sorry if this has been beat to death on here!)

I dont like the lift blocks that came with my superlift kit. So I want to use the chevy drop shackles like these:

Question: Will these alone replace the superlift blocks? or will I need something else? AAL? Will I need new shocks, or will the superlift shocks still work?

Also, I dont like the raked look of my truck, I want it level or maybe a little higher in the front (preferably without adjusting the tbars).

Only way you'll lift the front more....is by cranking those bars. Your lower arms are darn near FLAT....where as mine are angled(cranked about 60% of the way to fully cranked)

Belltech 6400 shackles is what I used. It provided 1.5" of lift(i measured before and after). I also used a ProComp Short AAL in the rear. I did not want to stack blocks in the back...so I went the shackle/AAL route. It is darn near level with my semi cranked bars....even a little rake with the back higher...but it's just perfect for me.

Superlift shocks should be just fine. It's about the same amount of lift with the shackle/aal combo as the SL blocks. I'm using the RCD kit's rear shocks(Bilstein 5100's)
