i have another d44 from a box broncho all you will need to do is grind off the c's and weld your perches on i just did my its not to bad just time consuming

your both right, the C's are a cast peice that are pressed on....

Yea i sent a message to him...but i dont know the truck hasent moved in 10 years...sounds like the axels might need alot put into them to get them right...

well, doing a SAS the right way isn't cheap.

no its deafently not cheap. i would say the cheapest way to go would be to buy my ranger its almost done. the only reason i want to sell it is so i can start a sas on my 04 ranger

If that's the case, I wouldn't bother with a solid axle... just get a superlift or something. You'll spend so much time and money trying to get it to ride and drive right... and for what? If you don't use it, you're no better off than you were before.
