1" F150 Coil Spacers

FORD F-150 97&UP FRONT COIL SPACER 1 INCH LIFT KIT 2Pcs:eBay Motors (item 160391209184 end time Jan-30-10 12:21:34 PST)

Could I use these for my 2008 XL 2wd? They fit on top of the coil.
I just want 1" of lift for the front.

Cheers

Ok
Wasn't sure so back to the drawing board. I have seen the 2" coil spacers but I don't want to get into alignment, ride quality and shock length issue's.
I think a 3" body lift on a 2008 XL 2wd with 31" tires would look too much lift?
Thanks for any help.

Cheers

No, 3" on a coil sprung truck with 31s or 32s looks good. Do it!

The pics I have seen with a 3" body lift on a 2wd make the 31's look small.
Maybe it was just the angle of the pic.

Well some do, its not as bad as 31s on a torsion bar body lifted lol. It really depends on the truck, the tire and personal preference.

Mine fit perfect. I would have no problem running 32's though

So now I am looking at either a body lift or spindle with shackles.
Just worried about the spindle if it will push out the front tires (track) and the grinding of the LCA, ABS routing etc.
Body lift would mean modifying the hitch, exhaust pipe for it to look right.
Decisions, decisions well more searching.....

Ok
So I have narrowed it down to either a 2" coil spacer and rear shackle.
Or a 3" body lift.
Still searching for pictures of both.
I already have BF Goodrich 31x10.5x15 AT installed on stock steel wheels.

if you go with the 3" body lift, why not some nice 33's... the combination of bl and 33x12.5 looks pretty sick... trailer hitch can be modified at later date, so remove it for now and the exhaust should not be to hard to modify...

where in ON are you?

Only problem is my 31's are three weeks old.
Can't spend any more money on tires.

So I think I am going to order the 2" Doestch spacer and shock kit along with some shackles for the back. Is anybody running this setup? Just concerned if it will put premature wear on the ball joints etc with the added spacer. Also do you think I will need the camber adjustment bolts for the alignment after?

Cheers
