"Boing" Going to check it out...

I have a sound coming from my front end (drivers side). I must have done a hundred searches, to no avail.

Its a "boing" kind of sound. Almost like if you tap the end of a metal coffee can with your finger.

Its only from the drivers side. Happens when going at slow speeds and I hit some type of bump (eg: speed bump) and the suspension compresses. I can recreate it by bouncing the front side up and down, and after a few bounces I can start to hear it.

The ball joints were replaced about 10k ago, and I got under it and everything looks great with them-in fact they still look new, and I am almost certain its not the sway bar bushings or tie rods.

What are some other things that I should consider?

I am going to get it checked out this weekend, but before I head in thought I would ask around here for other ppl's thoughts.

Brought it in.....

Turns out one of my bushings from where the sway bar attaches to the frame has a bit of "give" in it. I tried greasing it, fixed a bit, but not enough. Gonna go buy a new pair tonight and put it them on.

They make two kinds though, a 27mm and a 29mm one. How do I know which one to get, its kinda hard to measure when the difference is only 2mm.

I also found out one of my lower ball joints is starting to show signs its giving up on life, putting moog's on (hopefully before the white stuff comes).

And the neighbor next door, she's nasty and I have heard lots of bad **** about the *****, you can have her, in fact, I will even pay for the mailing
