Spindle Lift?

Spindle Lift?

just wondering if i'll need to extend my brake lines any with a 3'' spindle lift. i'm ordering it in a week probably from jusnes modified. seem to have the best price so far. unless someone knows of a better deal. thanks.

I have a 3'' Fabtech spindle lift and I didnt need to extend mine.

i have 3" spindals with 4" t-bar and i didnt they are tight with my truck on a lift but they arnt gonna break. I say do it. Then get 35's

oh i'm gonna do it lol i just wanted to know if i needed to price brake lines. i'm running 33's right now stock hieght so i'll stick with those until i find a good deal on 35's... can't wait to get the lift.. everyone and their damn mom ask me if my truck is lifted.... :(

oh? how long did it take for you to install the spindles. i'm a gm tech. but just wondering... time frameage.... i'm gonna take a saturday off to do this at the shop. and i have a friends truck to put spacers in. an 01 taco

it took me about 3 hrs because i had to change the balljoints because the lift was for a 2003. but if i didnt have to do that it would probibly take about 2 hrs

thats not bad at all. oh. where did you get your spindle lift? how much and all that good stuff. i'm really looking for a good deal. and did you use the alighnment kit?

i've got an old one around i think
changed the looks alot here lately.
i can post and old one if you want... but it doesn't look much like it now

Suspension max sells a 3 inch spindle lift for $350 shipped that was the best I could find!

ok. there it is.. minus the grille guard, kc light bar on top. took those off. bought taller and wider tires. 33' 12.50's. torsion bar raised so it's level. tinted windows and clear corners.

if anyone knows of a good deal on spindle lifts. please let me know. i checked out suspesion max. might go that route. course it doesn't come with anything else. oh well. it's only money right? lol

yes, this does not come with everything needed.

the fabtech kits at Jusnes Modified come with everything needed to finish off the lift, including shocks, and shipping

I got mine a fabtech used, from some forum on the net, mabye here and didn't extend anything and installed in like 2 hours and I've never done it, just read the directions, oh and all hand tools, no air tools. I paid like 175 for them and some 3" blocks. Not a bad deal.

I bought an alignment kit but I didnt end up needing it. MIne took about 5 hours. We put 3'' spindle all new shocks and aal's I got all that for 650.00. Its all Fabtech

Pertaining to your original question, you dont need new brake lines, but what alot of people have done that no one else suggested yet is they dropped the mount that would cause them to be tight and zip tied them at a lower spot. Mnay of the lifted members have done that, but havent posted yet.

alright awesome. thanks karpe. it shouldn't take me long. i'll be doing it at my shop with a lift and air tools. thanks for everyones help and all.
