New to suspension lifts and all
Im looking to lift my truck 2.5-3 more inches, but not a body lift. just got a 3'' body lift done, and now i want to raise it a little more. I dont know what i need, or where to start. im seeing spacers, coil springs, add a leafs and i dunno whats goin on haha. im not planning on offroading or any of that, just mainly for looks and protection i guess. Maybe once in awhile ill take it trailing and whatnot who knows. but i have a 1999 ford ranger 2wd v6 3.0 xlt. im looking for the cheapest and best way to lift it 2.5 - 3''.
thank you for reading, and sorry for the nooby questions
brother was also telling me i need new rims?will my current tires fit on the new rims? all i know is they are 31s, mastercraft MT

Why would you need new rims for a lift, other than making the truck it look better? Lift spindles do say that you need a minimum backspacing but that's not really a problem. As far as options, you can pick up a set of lift coils or coil spacers for up to 2.5" without having to get new upper control arms. Your other option would be to pick up a set of lift spindles, that would give you 3" of lift.
As for it looking funny with small tires like a 31, it won't be too bad. I have a set of 32's on 5.5" of lift, and it's not too bad.

still kind of not understanding.
jcwhitney has nothing but a body lift and leveling kits for my 99.
4 wheel parts has nothing for my 99
PerformanceLifts.com -- Fabtech 1998-2000 Ranger 3" Spindle Lift found this and not understanding. i dunno.
can you guys link me to stuff so i can get ideas?sorry, some reason this is more confusing than a body lift. trying to find the best and cheapest way of lifting my truck
