2wd Spindle Lift

Is there a reason that there are no lift spindles for 2wd's with torsion bars?

I refuse to sacrafice ride quality and potentially making my ball joints suffer by cranking my torsion bars. Thus, if want it lfited I only have coil spring conversion and coilover kit (complete overhaul of the front suspension). Neither is cheap or something I feel like undertaking on my own.

I am thinking about going to a fabrication shop with some junkyard spindles (for reference) and having them construct me custom lift spindles from scratch. Is this a real possibility?

I am going to be changing my ball joints with in a year anyway and I have no issue with changing my own spindles and repacking a couple bearings agian (I say agian because I had to replace my rotors 2 years ago).

Nope there is, thats like the one of two ways to lift out trucks lol. Fabtech makes a good one and Doestch makes a budget one.

If you jump the truck yes. Thats the only cases I've seen of them breaking, is people that have jumped the front end. Even stock parts won't hold up to jumping the truck. Go ask My05Edge how he knows lol

Still not seeing it. 2001 Ranger Edge, yes. 2000 Ranger 2wd with Torsion suspension, no.

I'm wondering if 2001 edge is the same as my 2000 Mazda B3000 TL.

Is your truck a trailhead?

The trailhead suspension is identical to the 01-up 2wd edge.

Uh I don't think there are any 00 with torsion bars that aren't 4x4. Do you have a pic? Are you the guy with the Troy Lee Mazda? If its the torsion bar suspension then those spindles will work.

You have the Mazda equivalent to the Trailhead. So yes, the 01-up Edge spindles will fit.

I'm pretty sure I have 11.25" brakes.

I'm excited now. I am debating between lift or motorcycle....

Both! Buy your lift and get a loan for the bike. What's the problem?

No reason to jump the truck with spindles lol.
That's just outright dumb.

I went over a speed bump and my snout broke off my doestech spindle, I wasn't jumping anything.

I tried calling suspensionmax.com and they have the worst customer service ive ever seen.

Sweet. Thanks for the heads up.

What is ya'll opinion on doing this by yourself?

I've already had to change the rotors on the truck so dealing with the bearings and all isnt a biggie.

I've done a lot of easy-moderate engine work. Down to intake manifold swaps, cam swaps, throttle body swaps, etc...
I've rebuilt a briggs 8hp go-kart motor after doing all of the performance mods to it (advanced timing, smaller combustion chamber for higher compression, removing any corners in the combustion chamber so hot spots cant form, etc...)

I've never messed with suspension much, how hard would this be for me? Just to have the local suspension and tire shop replace my ball joints and do an alignment would cost me $450. For that money I can do it myself and just have them align it for $50 and it'd be like $200 off the cost of the lift spindles.

Its super easy , Honestly from some of the posts you have posted I think you have enough mechanical knowledge to do it yourself . ITs farily simple when you really think of it I honestly think I could pull it off in under 1.30 mins including tool prep & clean up .
