umm...what have you done to your suspension? Add a leaf? shackles? Torsion bars? what....

More dampening may be the solution but it depends....

Welcome to ranger forums and congrats on the truck. I don't remember how the suspension is setup on that truck, but maybe he will chime in.

Antonio, if you got new shocks front and back that would help some. To be honest expect a bit of a harsh ride from a lifted truck. I don't remember what the best shocks are right now, probably Bilsteins, someone more knowledgeable will respond.

Since you don't want a truck (based on above assumptions), you can remove a leaf from the rears springs to soften up the ride, but you will lose load carrying capacity. You could also get some dual rate springs from a car application, just match the length and diameter.

He bought the truck from Seabass. You're assuming way too much, to be honest. And I'm not sure of his technical prowess but I think shocks are the best option. And lowering the PSI isn't bad either.

Pot holes are hard to not be bouncy. Learn to steer around then really quickly

Cute kid, but looks kinda surprised in this one!

BTW, sorry, didn't know you were the one who bought it. Yeah, maybe some different shocks. But really, when you get lifted, the ride suffers. It's a price you pay. Same with lowered.

Hey Antonio!!

Yes, the shocks probably should be replaced, they are the factory ones still with 100K miles on them. As "AK" said go with some BILSTEIN - - 5100 Series shocks. Oh, and the suspension is stock...Truck just has a body lift and #1 T-Bars that are cranked to compensate for the winch and bumper.

Antonio, give me a call if you cant get/find the BILSTEIN - - 5100 Series shocks.

To be fair I haven't looked recently, but I think 5100's are only for suspension lifted rangers. The bilstein HD shocks will work well for the truck. I ran them on my 98 ranger with a canopy, heavy front bumper and everything. I would definitely use them again.

Here you can see, my truck was setup about the same.

Here are the part numbers I pulled from the Bilstein website. They are the yellow/blue shocks.
BILSTEIN - FORD RANGER 4WD HD FRONT SHOCK -- Part Number: F4-BE5-2794-H0
BILSTEIN - FORD RANGER 4WD HD REAR SHOCK -- Part Number: F4-BE5-2795-H1

I google searched the part number and here is one place to order them. I have never bought from them, it is just for reference.
http://www.shockwarehouse.com/index....cted_year=2004
A complete set from them is $272.56, which is close to what I remember paying for them.
