3" drop coil spring??

i have a 2003 ranger xlt ext cab. I have the thunderbolt coils which are supposed to be 2" drop but they really aren't. My question is can i use the three inch bell tech drop coils and still be able to align it? i want a 3/4 drop but no one makes a kit for the 03 and i don't think i can go lower because of the STX vlance and my current tire size of 235/75/15. The tires and wheels are farely new so i want to keep them. So would i be able to align it or should a get a good set of 2" coils and leave it alone. Thanks for any input.
