got a present in the mail :)
ok so not actually a present, it cost me $500
but still, haha. hopefully those will be going in soon, then im going to buy some MT Baja Claws...35s of course.
im going to be running beltech shackles in the rear, but i am probably going to put those 2" blocks in anyways instead of my factory ones, they are tapered to correct pinion angle so hopefully that may help too, i guess im going to need shocks though? i remember reading somewhere that spindles you don't actually need shocks, but with the added 2.5" to 3" in the rear im going to need them anyways, also if im gonig to get an alignment done afterwards, do i need a special kit? (like the camber kit that the fabtech kit comes with?) i want to get these in soon, im impatient, but i really need to stop spending money haha

geeze 500? i got my spindles for like 250 and bought used stock blocks off another member. say dont sport models have blocks already?
I got 4 shocks, spindles, shackles and leafs, and my lift cost around $800 in the end.
Hey Andrew...what you waiting for?!?!? I drove from Ottawa to NY to pick up my spindles on Thursday last week, and had them on before dinner same day!
Get outside and install!

im wanting to, i just gotta get the shocks, but i just moved into an apartment and dont have anywhere to work really, plus im working nights and it is now 3:15 pm and i just woke up, maybe i'll pay howells a visit one day, i want to get my crappy saggy t-bars swapped for his #1 bars he has too.
as far as the price tag, it was something like 370 american haha.
the sports have stock blocks, but mine are only 1.5", so the 2" is better
crunchy, what time did you leave to get those? 6 am the day before lol thats what? a 7 hour drive from ottawa? how hard is the install?

edgerider that is them. canuck motorsports.
i'm not too sure about those alum. blocks. i wasn't planning on using them before, i just thought the taper may be helpful. As for install, i might do it at my buddys this weekend, i have no jacks or anyting here, and it'd be pretty hard to run an extension chord from the 8th floor around to the back of the building to the lot haha. if i do them saturday like planned, i'll have loads of pics

forget those aluminum blocks....leave the stock in and run shackles. I've seen aluminum ones split in half on a dozen occasions. If your intention is to replace the stock with the aluminums, I'd do shackle and stock instead....or get stock 2.5" 07 and older blocks. I think they intend you do stack the blocks with that kit you got.

no way am i going to stack haha, i dont trust the aluminum so im just going to stick with shackle and stock for now. im going to talk to my buddy tomorrow, see if he wants to help me out, considering he has a back yard and jacks, which i dont.
will i need longer shocks to run them, i know when howells had the shackle in his rear with bigger blocks his was still fine, im just not sure about the front

pics!
im going to be sitting SO Cal for a couple days haha...drop shackles = epic fail
looks huge from the front though, the side pic is on a downhill slope too, but just a small one. install was pretty easy, did drivers side first, took about 2-3 hours because i wasn't sure of everything to do (and couldn't get the stupid abs sensor out), pass took about 30 min from taking the tire off to getting it back on.
