Stuck In Spindle Installation

if its what im thinkin, lower control arm ball joint, you should be fine if you only hit the spindle. Dont hit the stud with the nut on it, or you risk tearin up the threads, or destroying the ball joint. The reason why its "stuck" on there, is because the stud, and spindle are tapered, so when the two are pulled together, it basically becomes one, but allows the stud to still turn with the spindle.
this method of abusing the truck parts, is useful and safe in many ways. you may end up needing to do it to remove the tie-rod and upper ball joint as well. Sometimes safe than using the fork and tearing boots.

That's been covered on here a million times. Thread the nut back on upside down so it just covers the threads, so you can hit the balljoint stud/nut combination to force it out. If you just **** on the stud, you may damage the threads.
You can also use a ball joint remover or "pickle fork" or other tools. All the information on this is already on here, with pictures in some cases, as it is elsewhere on the net.
If you're not talking about the lower balljoint stud, what are you talking about?
