When the Superlift isn't enough?

When the Superlift isn't enough?
So, I bought the Superlift, but I'm thinking that I'd like an additional 2" of lift. What is the best way to acheive this? I'm not to familiar with some of the other meathods some of you guys use like AAL (I understand that is a Add-A-Leaf), Drop shackels, Spindles, etc. How would I go about incorporating additional components to an existing lift kit.
What will work with what I already have?
Oh and I have a 2000 XLT 4x4 with 8.8 w/ LS and 4.10's
Any help is greatly appreciated.

depends on what you want to do, if you dont want to touch the bars then you can do the BL. If you dont want to do a BL the you have a couple of options, the most expensive but probably the best would be new (i think 6") skyjacker leaf springs plus you could do shackles and crank t-bars. or just do AAL and the rest of that.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I already bought wheels and 33" tires and I know the 33's under a truck with a 4" suspension lift and 3" body lift doesn't look very good. Before I bought the 33" tires I did some research on 35's w/ a double lift and more than a few people said that they regretted going that route because the 35's just wear out the front end and they were replacing parts on an annual basis. I'd love to avoid that.
So my thinking is at what point do 33's start not looking proportionate to the amount of lift?
Can you get a 1" or 2" body lift? Does what I'm asking make since?

You can do a custom 1" body lift, search on here, I know someone has done it. Basically it's like using hockey pucks. Either way tho, your 33's will look perfect with your suspension lift. Do that, and if you're happy with it, keep it that way. If you still wanna go bigger, do a body lift or the other options listed above, and get 35's... keep in mind with tires that big you will probably want to re-gear so you can gain back some lost power trying to turn those big tires.

I dont know who your going to get the lift you want out of the front, crank the bars is all I know to do. The rear my short AAL gave me 1 3/4in of lift. I dont think you will have enough crank left on your bars to level the truck after you lift the rear.

Yep.. i have a 1" lift on my truck. Its a put it together yourself kit, but it is really not hard at all to put together, and pretty cheap as well.
Here is a fast track on how to do so...there is a thread over in the B/L tech forum on it.

Page 12 has a nice write up by Mike (VH5150), i printed out his post and used it on my lift.
You could do a slight torsion twist and a BT6400 in the rear and see where your truck stands. If its not enough you could always add the 1"bl later.
