Question...again...
I would like to get the opinion from as many members as possible to a question I have been mulling over in my mind. I would also like the members that respond, the reason for your choice.

Thank you, Gentlemen.
Have a nice day...

95-01 Ford Explorer rear multi-leafs. Reason: I've become more of a fan of ride in my old age....These don't have the towing or load capacity as Ranger springs or Ranger springs with an Add-A-Leaf, but boy do they make the truck ride so beautifully. And if installed on a stock Ranger, they'll add about 2" of lift by just swapping the springs.
The Explorer leafs replaced what I had previously installed, Pro Comp universal Add-A-Leaf. I saw about 1.5" lift from the AAL install.
If you want to keep some load rating (or increase it), use Add-A-Leafs. I believe the Fabtech spindle kit the OP is purchasing comes with Add-A-Leafs.

A new set of springs would be the best way to raise the rear.
Blocks are the WORSE way, as stated above, axle wrap, long u-bolts, etc.
Shackles work but if too long instead of axle wrap you will need to watch side movement. HD Shackles with another spring reduce both of the lift methods and give you lift with side stability.
My Truck has 6" lift SkyJacker springs in the rear to replace all the blocks SuperLift wanted to use.
At first I had a major bump steer problem but found out it was the sway bar that was the culprit.
Without the rear swap bar the truck has no major bump steer, and the replacement springs are working a lot better.
