Tie rod coupler

Hey, I'm in the middle of replacing all the tie rod ends on my '94 4.0 4x4. One of the bolts on the steel strap around the tie rod coupling is stripped and won't tighten. How important is it for that strap to be super tight? It's already tight enough that I cant spin it by hand, but its certainly not as tight as it was when I took the old ones out.

You may be fine, but I would not want to risk it. I'd get a new adjustment sleeve.
