Superlift Shocks!?

Superlift Shocks!?
All right I have been looking for replacement shocks for my truck.
I have a 2007 FX4 4x4 with the full Superlift suspension front/back.
Does anyone know what shocks I can use to replace the Superlift ones with?
I would love to run Bilstein 5100 series but can't find the P/N.
OR
Fox shocks.

For the rear, the options are endless because they are eye-to-eye. Just need to know collapsed and extended length then go from there. Unfortunately, for the front, there isn't any other option out there that bolt right on. Superlift's majorly suck. BUT...there are ways around it....

^^^I'm saving for that. That's why I wanted to run my good, almost brand new stock length Bilsteins because with only about 30k on the Superlift's, they were in horrible condition....all foamy inside and not wanting to push back, plus I could push the shaft with my pinky finger.
Here's how I fixed it up.... Used a stock 2.5" lift block, cut the ear off, drilled 7/16" holes, got some 7/16" bolts and washers, then bolted it all up. It's like a lift kit drop bracket for the shock and it works great. Props go to Alex/12r for the idea and I basically copied him exactly.

Dude...I don't even have bumpstops. LOL. It lowers the top mount about 4"....so about .5" more than the LCA's are dropped with the Superlift(superlift is actually a 3.5" drop bracket kit). So it would make sense my full droop is about 1/2" more than before because the shock's aren't stopping it. I need to measure that block...IDK it's exact drop to figure out how far off from stock it actually is.

dude....go to all the other coil-over threads. That's about the most commonly asked question....plus, Nick is giving us the best deal possible and he's got everything worked out including choice of shock. This thread is Superlift shock choices.

Measurement is the key, I was pissed when I first got the bilstein hds and had no lift. They were about 1/2" to shorter than the stockers. Maybe its why they work with the blocks for a drop?
For the rear take a look at the 5125s. Similar build to the 5100s, but you can choose the valving and they are about the same price..

Valving is up to you and how you drive. Stiffer ones will give a firmer ride with less roll, softer give a squishy ride that lets the springs compress easier but will bounce more.
Here is a site that explains the valving
Basically the higher the first number the harder to compress it and the higher the second number the slower to stretch it back out.
For the front the simpliest is a 3.5" drop bracket or extension and whatever stock shock you like. Typically the fronts are valved high and rear lighter in a truck due to weight balance.
Personally I like a soft ride so my morning coffee doesn't go everywhere when commuting. On the beach though the soft shocks bounce everywhere. Depends where your priorities are.
My back lift is 6" so shocks are 28" ride height, 34" extended necessitating a 14" travel bilstein. 12" travel would work for a 4" rear lift.
Bilstein 5125 valving options = 170/60, 255/70, 270/56, 289/36
If I ever get around to changing the backs I am going with 170/60 which are super soft, more medium is the 255/70 and above that is comparable to the HDs. Its up to you what type of ride you want. Hope that helps!
