Sway bar link broken... Is there something better to replace it with?

Last week I heard a clunking coming from the front end and when took a look at it I found the sway bar link disconnected from the sway bar, so when it compressed it would hit the sway bar. The top bolt/pin whatever it is completely sheared off where it goes through the control arm, i called the dealership and its 40 bucks for the link and 18 for the bolt kit (he called it something different but i cant remember what). Is this the best way to go? Or is there some aftermarket links or something off another truck that is a bit more durable that i can make fit? I have a thing with feeling the need to replace parts with something better so it wont break again! lol But I am also thinking about a superlift in the future so don't really want to throw too much cash into it...
Thanks!

autoparts store like autozone.... they sell them for like $8 or $13. I've broke both stock ones and havent broken one of these yet. But right now im runing a disconected swaybar. thelinks are just long bolts with washers bushings and a collar.

you can see the link in this pic. just make sure you get same length as your other one.
