Shackle help!

putting my shackles on, relized that mine seem really fat where the leaf attaches to the shackles is it right? its not a tight squeeze like the stock one. it like sticks .5-1" away from leaf and there isnt much room for the bolt to get much threads on. did i get the wrong ones? they are chevy drop shackles, autozone brand ones, not beltech.

Will the bolt fit in and not interfere?

Ranger4.0,
What Belltechs do you have? And how far does it raise the rear of the truck? Any picture? I would like to get some as I generally am hauling something and with cranked Tbars it rides to low in the rear.

To the OP, get some pictures. It sounds like you either purchased the wrong shackles, or something weird is going on.

Definitely doesn't sound right... if they're the correct ones they should be pretty much the same width as the stock ones.
