trying to figure it out.

could i mount this kit on any standard shock or do i have to use a strut tube or something?

first things first you have alot of post about parts lately and dont really say its for the f-150 but i am assuming it is. plus remeber its a ranger site not alot of people know tons about them i mean some do. but it would be a good idea to say here for my f-150....yadada. just so people arnt in ranger mode when looking at stuff for you. most people dont read sign's i have noticed

i assume whatever u can do for the ranger u can make work on the fullsize t-bar suspension. boy im glad i dont have that ghey *** torsion bar front.

ok am going to ask a dumb *** question i have never crawled under the newer 4x4 effer's are they t-bars?

97-2003/4 (04 heritage) are. also the F250 lightduty/7700 are. the new 04/5 are coil/strut with a-arms. best of both worlds IMO.

i guess i thought the 04-05 Fx4 were torsion bar but i could be wrong, i know a 2wd xlt lariat is coil/strut. but i never really looked that cloose.

see now, this question can work for anybody as everybody has shocks on their vehicle and this is not a vehicle specific part. it should actually fit you level II guys cuz it says smooth body bilsteins but i also know that bilstein makes a coil-over shock and didnt know if this kit was used for that or just any shock.

the new f-150s are coil-over with a-arm.
