im new when it comes to this stuff but in maine it is illegal for me to have a body lift because of abs rules or some bs so i was looking into something a little bit cheaper as far as suspension goes and i came across this, no idea what kind of lift but it is cheap and fits my truck let me know what you guys think , http://www.truxxx.com/ford_products/ford_products.htm
ive seen this before i think it is a t bar key set. i dont know if you were looking for this. i think this is what it is since its the same part for the 4x4 and 2wd hope this helped
Suspension lift hmmm? If you have Coils you cant get Rubber leveling spacers that will lift 1 inch or so. other than that. get a body lift and tell them off. body kits illegal? That makes about as much sense as feeding a jelly donut to a horse illegal. theres no point in the law existing.
Are you sure about Body Lifts being illegal? Not saying I know state laws but I'd really talk to a cop or something first. (If you have already let me know and I'll just shut my mouth). I mean if a Body Lift is illegal I would think pretty much every kind of lift would be illegal.
If it is illegal, I understand where your coming from though. Guessing you just can't afford a full out suspension lift?
Also what year/model of truck do you currently have? There are ways to get small amounts of life with some fairly simple changes (Not simply talking about t-bars cranks either).
I am pretty sure it is illegal to have a lifted vehicle, I am not 100% sure if Suspension lifts are legal. I remember having a conversation with my uncle about lift laws in Maine and saying that I would never live there because of them.
Headlights: Don't even think about going higher than 54 inches. However, keep in mind that the original suspension cannot be "disconnected", but don't let that stop you from bolting on heavy-duty shocks and overload springs. Other need-to-knows: Don't remove or disconnect the ABS, and the tires can be only two sizes larger than the manufacturer's recommendation. Spring-shackle extensions are also a no-no.
Two sizers larger than "factory recommend" means 33 inch tires haha. Because I believe factory recomennded ALWAYS means fx4 lvl 2s that come with 31s.
