what size tires

hey all, im new to the site but not ford trucks. I have a little problem. i am looking into a 3 in body lift for my 93 ranger but i dont know what size tires i will be able to fit. stock right now i can fit 31x10.5 without any rub. after a 3 in body lift what size tires will i be able to fit? I figure 33x12.5 in super swampers would fit fine but any input would be helpful thank

Lowriders are for guys who cant get it up.

any one got pics of a ranger with a 3 in body lift and 33x12.5? How far do the tires stick out from the body?

As far as sticking out from the body, it all depends on the backspacing of your rims.

yes i agree. depends on the wheel.

15x8 with 3.25 backspacing will stick out further than a 15x8 3.75 backspacing.

most people with rangers run one of those size wheels ^^

here are 15x10s with 3-5/8 backspacing and 33s.

would a 15x8 wheel be a good size i thought 15x10 was the recommended size for 33x12.5

15x8 will work fine with 33x12.5 alot of people run them that way

For the older body style i would run a 15x8 wheel for 33x1250's. They have less fender clearance than the newer style trucks and a 15x8 will fit alot better.

93 4x4 with 3" body lift 33x12.50s on stock 15x7s

Here it is on 15x8s with 3.75" BS and leveling coils

oh yea the tires rubbed the radius arms at full lock on the stock 15x7s, i think those wheels have a conservative backspace around 4.5", got the 15x8s with 3.75" backspace and no more rub anywhere
