Im new to DIY...simple question...Lowering Control Arms

i am looking to buy a set of Lowering Control Arms by DJM. i see that they also have a set of Upper Control Arms sold seperately. my questions are, are Upper Control Arms required for me to buy also and what do they do?

im planning to do a 4/5 drop on an '04 if this helps any.

Thank you!!

You need them for alignment purposes.

You can go just about anywhere and buy all the pieces you need to the drop in one kit. Will be cheaper that way too. I reccommend Godfather Customs, Grant Kustoms, or Gauge Magazine's store.
