whats the best shocks

i have a 99 ford ranger and like to do a little trail riding what would be the best shocks????? for descent price???

Everyone i going to tell you something different.

I prefer Monore Sensetrac shocks. They will go on my truck when i change out the Motorcrafts i have on there now.
Others prefer Bilstein, or Rancho. but its all personal preference.

I prefer bilsteins, but the ranchos are ok.

ok yeah i have 1999 ford ranger 4.0 with 4.10 gears with 32's on it thinkin about droppin a built 302 in it but aint sure yet ive been looking at the Zone shocks have you heard anything good on them???

i saw a new brand called boss shocks at a local store and they looked super beefy for cheap, may want to look into those

i had ranchos and liked how stiff they were. bilstiens ive heard they were pretty stiff too but a good stiff, not like rattle your brains out stiff.

I did like my stock bilsteins, they are now on my buddys 2011 sport becuase he liked them better than the stock ranchos. They must have like 100k miles on them and they show no signs of age

you really couldnt go wrong with bilstein with everything said. there shocks are good for really any application. with the kind of track record they have i dont think you could go wrong with them.

Rancho's, I didn't like them on the bronco

KYBs stay the hell away from them. not so much bad ride just bad quality
